Ft. Lauderdale, FL May 31, 2008. Ft. Lauderdale's gay community is one of very discerning tastes. So when Harbor Beach residents and nightclub entrepreneurs Brett and Roby Tannenbaum began to plan their wedding, they called in the big guns... Dazzle Creative Event Producers. In what can only be described as a romance novel comes to life, Brett and Robby Tannenbaum were wed during a candlelight ceremony at the Marriott Harbor Beach Resort. The ceremony was a vision of white, as layers of flowing fabric and a veritable garden of flowers magically transformed a once typical ballroom into an elegant candle-lit temple. Countless glass votives twinkled like stars, as they hung from white trees creating a romantic and regal aisle for the couple to walk down towards the Chuppah. The couple being world travelers wanted to convey their joy of travel to their guests. So after the vows were exchanged, guests entered into the Grand Ballroom superbly decorated with an international influence. By selecting three of Brett and Roby's favorite destinations, the Mediterranean, South America and Asia, guests were taken on a virtual "world tour". Huge fountains, reflecting the style of each of the continents, were the center attraction for each of the lavish tasting stations displayed around the room. Assorted size tables dotted the room and were dressed in custom created raw silk linens of platinum, black and fuchsia. Magnificent florals of white hydrangea, green orchids and bright fuchsia roses towered overhead from huge black urns. With attention to even the smallest details, square black chargers held white dinner plates, which were topped with black and fuchsia napkins folded to hold a single green orchid at each place setting. The cake, a tower of delicate orange confection was elegantly displayed with a dripping of pale green orchids flowing down the side, making it a treat for both the palate and the eyes. As if that weren't enough, two Venetian-style dessert stations were wheeled in, offering guests everything from smooth and luscious creme brulee to tender, flaky Napoleons. The night was full of love, music, jubilant celebration and enough good food to feed a small nation! Tannenbaum's guests raved about the beauty and triumph of the evening. And Brett and Roby were just as delighted. Everyone left the party rejoicing in a renewed sense of romance. |
